In a statement by Newly Appointed Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque of the TV5 Stand Up program, President Duterte's spokesperson said the Liberal party was "opposed" to power and intends to return to power.

"The problem, the opponents can not really move on." They can not believe that they are losing because people have no confidence in them. So I believe they will do everything for the President to overthrow. Why? They are more powerful than power. They are in a state of outrage and do not want to see the Philippines flourish, "Roque said.

Roque replaced former spokesperson Ernesto Abella as President's spokesman in early November. According to the President, he chose Roque because he is a lawyer and knowledgeable. Another one that the President liked about Roque was his tongue. Roque displayed his tongue in an interview with PCO Assec. Mocha Uson where he said that the critics would love to stave off the baseless accusations of "hollow blocks and adobe".

Spokesperson Roque's dialogue and debate will be held against the "opponents" of 8:30 pm in the "Stand Up" program on TV5.
