President Rodrigo Duterte knocked off ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. from its high horse by slamming the nation's greatest media organization for its long winded telenovelas.

In a press conference in Davao City, Duterte picked on its long running dram anthology, “Maalala Mo Kaya”, hosted by ABS-CBN head honcho Caro Santos-Concio, to drive home his point.

”So what is your moral authority to tell us what to do, ‘yung mga programa ninyo? Editorial criticizing us. Who would ever believe you?” said Duterte.

“I told the Filipino community, huwag kayong magbasa niyang Inquirer pati ABS-CBN. Hanggang drama lang ‘yan sila mahusay. Iyan ang negosyo nila eh. They do not get anything dito except during elections. Ano nila ‘yung mga ratings nila ‘yung mga drama-drama nila ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’. Putang ina mo, nakalimutan na kita bakit alalahanin pa kita? Kaya ako ganito magsalita,” he added.

Duterte has blamed ABS-CBN for estafa for neglecting to repay him for a political promotion which the system declined to air n the most recent days of the battle time frame regardless of getting his cash.
