Look: San Miguel Corp. Formally Opens NAIA Expressway Phase II Project (NAIAx)
The NAIAx will connect the three NAIA Airport Terminals to the Skyway, Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEx) and Pagcor Entertainment City in Pasay.
The four-lane, 12.655-kilometer expressway is part of the Duterte administration's "Build, Build, Build," program to decongest Metro Manila Roads.

Secretary Mark Villar of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) graced the occasion and during the meeting with some neighborhood media, he said that the interstate will benet no less than 80,000 voyagers for each day, and will lessen travel time from the South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) to NAIA to 20 minutes from 60 minutes.
"A total of 17 off and on ramps have been constructed along strategic locations at Villamor Airbase, Resorts World, NAIA Terminal 3, MIAA Road, Imelda Avenue, Cavitex, Seaside Drive and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard," Sec. Villar said in a statement.
The DPWH also declared that the two recently included inclines, Ramp 1 and 17, will be toll-free for 30 days. SMC unit Vertex Tollways Development, Inc. won the agreement in 2013 to build and work the expressway.
"I am very proud to say that over the last seven years, our company has become one of the most active players in the Philippine infrastructure sector," said Ramon S. Ang, SMC president and Chief Operating Officer said in a separate statement.
The NAIA Expressway Phase II extend costs around P20.45-billion, the Philippine government has a financial plan of P15 billion and SMC offered and extra P11 billion to the development cost.
The recently initiated venture of Pres. Rody Duterte, the NAIA Expressway Project goes through Sales Avenue, Andrews Avenue, Parañaque River, MIAA Road and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.
